Vacations

I really love vacations.  I recently went to the mountains to go to a youth group conference and there was over a 1000 people there.  It was a lot of fun except for one thing.  The music was freaking annoying.  I knew none of the song except for like 2 or 3 of them.  What was worse it was gospel.  No offence to anyone that listen to gospel but it just not my cup of tea.  However, we had very good keynotes and pastor there and I love how they added comedy in there because most services were very to the point I feel you something funny in there because I think it can help you remember stuff better.  At least in my opinion.  Also I was the honorary taxi driver because no one else would step up to the plate.  I didn't really mind it though' it was actually fun.  One day we decided to go hiking and I felt to tired, had a backpack walking in the cold because it was like 38 degrees that morning and the "steps" were like 2 feet tall.  I swear I sounded like a smoker going up.  Though the view at the top was worth it.  The way down was somewhat easier until I slipped and fell on my butt because the wood had frost on it but it had dirt on it and I didn't it.  My friend who was in front practically yelled "ARE YOU ALRIGHT".  Of course I was fine, I just popped right back up and said I am fine then kept on walking down.  But let me tell you the pain didn't set in until later.   Hell I am still a little sore from it haha.  The meals were good but everyone had to clean up at certain times and this one guy decided to help out on cooking but dips out on the cleaning and is so stupid.  It's like you were given a job so you need to suck it up and deal with it.  Then he "slept in" so he wouldn't have to take out the trash on the final day (which is LAME).  But all in all it was a really good trip. I got to get to know people better and I had a lot of fun.  The best part was I didn't have to pay for gas.  Our temp youth minister paid for my gas and that's awesome.

Well I am getting tired so good night.
M.
